I would be very interested in finding open source software to research the Bible Code (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bible_code). Does anyone know of anything available out there? Any developers who might want to look into this?

There are at least a half a dozen dormant projects on Sourceforge that have tackled this.

If you want to write the software from scratch, my suggestion would be to use *The Sword Project* as your starting point.

Thanks very much. I haven't done any development work for a long time so wouldn't really be looking to takle something like this at the moment. Was hoping to find something existing already... will dig around on Sourceforge a bit.
