Hi
I'm using Partimage from the Parted Magic LiveCD and I'm having problems taking an image. When I start to take the image, it reports the following error:-
"Write access denied for user 'partimag' "
I'm not sure what to do as I've given the destination drive "full control" to "everyone" and removed other accouts (under XP). I thought that would have given full access to anyone using that partition.

I don't know about parted magic Live Cd. I use the Partimage rescue disk 1.13 . with the gui after I mount the restore device.
did you create a mount point for your save drive / device?
if you want to do a google on partimage and download their rescue cd you might find it easier to use, and if not I might be able to help you out with it.
