I bought an HIS Raedon HD 2600XT IceQ Turbo AGP 8x (512mb GDDR3) graphics card and installed the hotfix version of the 8.12 Catalyst and display drivers for AGP versions of the video card.

Anyway, every game I try fails to detect OGL, and the card is supposed to support OGL 2.0 (it also supports DirectX 10, if that is any importance). Catalyst tells me the OGL display driver is installed under software info.

Relevent system specs:

Windows XP SP2 Professional (I can't download SP3, so don't ask. I have dialup. :( )

PC CHIPS M848A Motherboard (Old video card did OGL well with this board)

HIS Raedon HD 2600XT IceQ Turbo 512mb GDDR3, AGP 8x

AGP Hotfix version of Catalyst 8.12 and coresponding drivers.

Not sure what else to list. Any help would be appreciated.

(By the way, this and the fact Kubuntu 8.10 doesn't work with my softmodem drivers is keeping me from using Kubuntu. I miss it. lolz)
