I love them both one more than the other. I am talking about Mac OS X being the best but I do like to play with Ubuntu 8.10 from time to time I have used Ubuntu since 7.10 on my PC's and just had a Mac Mini that I use for the Daily Grind I am not planning to install this on any of my other Mac's than this Mini. I put Ubuntu on the Internal Drive 70 gigs or something like that. Then put Mac OS X safely on a external drive. I need someway to dual boot without having to pull the OS X drive out to get into Linux and put the Drive in and press option to select Mac OS X.

How to do the dual boot will depend on your Mac mini model and processor - powerpc g4 or intel, and the bootloader (yaboot/grub) you are using for ubuntu on the internal drive. You can post the mini model info from the Macosx menu bar Apple-about this mac-more info-hardware.
