How long does it take for HOWTO's to be posted to the T&T forum?

I'm just wondering what the average length of time is before guides are posted in the Tutorials & Tips forum, on average. I know *all* submitted guides aren't approved, but how often are the submissions reviewed?

Also, is there any sort of notification system that notifies authors if their guide has been posted or not?

Not that I know of, there used to be but I think the feature/plugin was incompatible with the latest vBulletin or something like that.

Sometimes it takes longer because the tutorial is no good :)

The staff sometimes discusses tutorials before approving or disapproving them, so that can sometimes hold up the process. It seems that there weren't many staff members around yesterday, so those few of us that were needed to focus on more immediate concerns that kept popping up. We are sorry for the delay in reviewing tutorials.

We post our Howto's outside of the Tutorials and Tips. If a mod finds it and likes, then they can move it. Otherwise, it just gets burried in that specific forums. Of course, we do link to it too :)

On average? 2 days. Roughly.
