I just tried to install alpha2 using the alternate install images. My USB keyboard is not working. Any ideas?

I do not have a PS2 port.

I also have this problem with new install of alpha3. Keyboard and mouse wireless. Keyboard works in console window not in x window.

This is a known bug, and I raised a bug report about it not so long ago on Launchpad:
