I just wonder....

For all you dual-booters, what games do you play lately?

Explanation: I didn't game for years, besides me some pro evolution soccer. For many years one of the best pc-games out there imho. Well the last edition is an absolute no-go:-(

So I have been looking around, bought a nice graphics card, and did some buying. I am fond of the Call of Duty series. A bit too straight maybe, but with a good ww2 atmosphere. I also bought fallout3, played it for a while, and being it really well developed, it makes me a bit down to wander around this post-acopalyptic world to b honest....

Which ( modern ) games am I missing, prefferably shooters or RPG's???

Guild Wars & Oblivion.

GW plays on Linux under Wine, Crossover or Cedega, though I play GW under Crossover on Leopard because the ATi Linux drivers still suck.

Crossover doesn't support Oblivion.

Halo PC, Civilization III, Half-Life 2, Counterstrike Source, Dawn of War, and Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds

Red Alert 3, Hellgate: London and just installed Archlord (Free MMORPG).

Great, some titles I'll look at.

Hmmmmmm, am kind of disappointed here. Got me GTA4, but, heck, what a crazy install....yakes ages and I'm not too fond of all the registration stuff ( windows-live.. ). It in fact made my comp. very sluggish....

Half-life 2 is great though, I've got that one ( the orange box ) and I'll try it once more....never finished it ( crashes ).

It would be nice if I could get CoD world at war and fallout work with wine. That's a pretty big task though..:(

I have been lately just fooling around with Fallout 3, I installed it before I did an upgrade to my PC that required me to do a reinstall of Windows (I probably could have went on without the reinstall but I am one of those folk who are very picky on how things go and I don't mind doing a reinstall of Windows every once-in-a-while, and I am being serious, too :P).

I also picked up Left 4 Dead and have been stuck doing the single player campaign since my current net sucks (on 3G via Alltel and mobile broadband router but I am getting DSL soon :D so I should be able to pester some folk online finally)

That's pretty much it here.
