Hiya, i would like to suggest that the forum should be easier to see from the homepage, you must do a little bit of searching to find it, a newbie needing help may get fustrated with this, maybe there could be a forum link under the community heading at the top of the homepage??

Other distro's have a massive forum link on there homepage, it shows users that there are people willing to help and guild them, also that there are people there who may have the same problems.

A newbie to ubuntu may not be able to find these helpful forums (and when something goes wrong, you really, really need this place!)

from what homepage?

That's how I read it - the link to the forum is quite a way into the site.

Ahhh i see...

I am a PC technician and to some the homepage is a mystical entity purveying the fruits of the world wide web. Some see their homepage as a integral part of their online experience and not just a url saved in their browser settings ("whats a browser" asked Joe). They don't realise they are being tracked and targeted with aggressive advertising policy's on a daily basis.

They dont see the hompage as a software configuration, they see it as part of their PC. Just as much a part as the electric stuff inside!

Thanks proprietary software world for dumbing us down ;)

That'll be it - it's all voodoo to me :)

I still can't find the little men inside writing the pages for me.

@tomatz - you're little girl appears to have morphed into a bunch of old men

What - I'm 57 and my only one hasn't left yet.

@OP: I know that this does not make the forum easier to access. It might be of some assurance to you that even the elderly people having a little chat in this thread have somehow managed to find the forum, cane and dark glasses and all.
