[SOLVED] any one care to explain why a post of mine has been jailed?

i didnt mention politics, it was in the "am i the only ubuntu girl" thread, and sum one asked why girls are scared to come on this forum. and i replied saying

"its more may be because as soon as they mention that there a girl they get stupid comments about girls not existing online"

which is true, cause alot of people in the thread have said the same, so i dont see im doing any harm.

Please be patient, the fact is that an administrator may not have seen your thread yet, and even if he/she has, some thorough investigation into the issue must be carried out, and I don't think 36 minutes may be sufficient.

sorry, i was abit anoyed, il wait to see what the out come is.

Normally regular staff don't post here, just admins, but since I jailed the post, there is a rather simple explanation. The post you quoted was spam, which has been removed, so since your post was a simple response to spam, I threw it in the jail since there wasn't much editing that could be done to still keep the post with any real content. You haven't done anything wrong, and are welcome to respond to the original thread. Sorry for the confusion.

thankyou for clearing this up, i see where your coming from, it would have been better if you had PMd me explaining that you had deleted a post that i had quoted, then i wouldnt of got the wrong impresion

I agree that a PM would have been beneficial and polite. We don't require staff to send them in these instances only because there are times when things can get busy and it isn't possible. When it is possible, it is a good idea.
