Yet another issue. Guess I'm up for a permanent ban.

It seems that in the midst of the "unpleasantness" that I had a couple weeks ago> http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1005746 http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1005898 http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1005990, I ended up with a permanent infraction. OK, I expected as much.

I called to light an issue first addressed by mod ugm6hr. This ended up being expertly handled by jdong. KiwiNZ, and for some reason matthew, both chimed in to let me know I was in the wrong. Sure, mods are always going to back each other up, but OK. That's old news. Two weeks ago. Ancient history. Live & learn, I guess.

But, wait a second. Out of nowhere, and without a word, p_quarles pops in slips me a 5-point permanent.

So my question is: Who's this guy? How is it this guy jumps into the middle of something being handled by not one, not two, not even three... but four different mods, throws around five points, and leaves without saying a word?

You do a good job acting all professional and talking a lot about "inappropriate behavior" and "how to deal with frustration", but then just stand by while some random person comes by and gets a cheap shot in while four other mods are pouncing on me?

Is this honestly how you guys handle things here? I'm just asking so I know.. ban me if you must.

A word of advice , you get more Bees with honey than you do with Vinegar. In other words you need to temper your language when addressing matter here. Your attitude makes one less inclined to assist you .

The staff action to date has been appropriate and inline with the code of conduct. You can considerate lucky you have not been banned permanently.

Having said that this is what will happen.

2. The infractions issued to date will remain.
3. Your current account will for the time being remain active.
4. This is your last warning , your membership of these forums is now considered probationary.
5. If you breach the Code of conduct again your will be banned.

I strongly suggest you take advantage of this opportunity to change your conduct here and become a productive member of this community. You have been given a chance , don't waste it.
