Has anyone had any experience with Larch?

It looks to be a good system for creating LiveCD/DVDs & you can also make a live disk from your installation, which may be a useful method for quicker recovery from a corrupt/trashed/hardware induced Arch failure, apart from anything else.

I keep trying it, but it continuously doesn't work for me. :(

I was wondering whether scripting skills would be required so as to be able to modify the scripts to suit your own situation/hardware or whatever.

Is larch what the chakra people used to build their LiveCD

Chakra used a modified version of larch to build their livecd. I think it contains quite a few hacks to make it work better on more hardware.
