how about developing a speech recognition software.It should be capable to recognize commands and general dictation.User talks into the microphone and the software converts decodes the electrical signals to text form.

The only one that I have tried with really works is Sphinx, and thats just with the demos. Using GNOME-voice-control doesn't work. In the end, what we need is some devs who know what they're doing to help.
