Coda/CSSEdit for Linux

I haven't really had any luck finding anything like this for linux, but it would be real nice to have a full featured web development program like Coda available for linux.

If you're unfamiliar, Coda and CSSEdit are Mac OS X apps for web coding and development.

I know a text editor and ftp client get the job done, but these apps really help to simplify things. With Photoshop working well in Wine, an app like Coda for linux could really help convert a lot of web developers who currently use Mac's and PC's.

Maybe Komodo Edit is the sort of thing you're looking for? AFIK it doesn't include FTP, but it is extensible so there's a fair chance it will support whatever you're working with.

I use FireFTP with Firefox for transfers. That tends to keep work neat and tidy, but I'll grant you it feels different than working with a fully fledged IDE.

Maye I can offer a little insight here.

I'm a mac and ubuntu user, and I have had no issues finding alternatives for existing programs, but I came at this from the other side and found Coda as an alternative for the linux software I's been using.

They are all solid apps and I've used them all on linux and beyond to do editing. Some of them do have remote FTP access and synchronizing, as well as synatx highlighting and other goodies.
