Made On Ubuntu

Do you have a video,image,document,presentation,website, or anything else you made with ubuntu? If so then check out the "Made with Ubuntu" Thingy add it to any of the above to spread your Ubuntu support:-) I use it on my website and I have it set to link back to ubuntu.com:-) I have included the html code that links to ubuntu.com and the plain old png image. What do you think?

Just as an after thought I think we should adopt a standard one of these (even if it is not mine) Kind of like a support for ubuntu flag. Also it shows people what Ubuntu can really do:-)

A standard could be nice, as kind of a template, but I'm not gonna use such a big picture to link to Ubuntu. When I'll link from my website it will be somewhere in a kind of credits page and with a nice small logo. It shouldn't scare away unknowing people...:popcorn: And while I think about it: isn't the logo itself already enough of a standard?

Im not sure if I like it but I'll keep it in mind. It would be strange if I made anything not on Ubuntu or another distro.

If you mean this one, I'm no graphic designer (though I do a bit) but here's how I did it.

2.Then I went into edit>paste from file

4.Once the image is imported do Ctrl>z

6.Now that the blue lines are gone you can enter text or pictures.

8 Finally for the rounded edges I uploaded it to picnik and used the round frame tool

1. I opened up kolourpaint and created a blank image the size I wanted.
2. I selected this image
3. Now click some random tool from the sidebar
4. For my text I used: Font-Sawsdee Colors: White and #E79B6C

Good news I made smaller ones, black and white ones, and Designed for Ubuntu ones avalible here

I have a page in my site just for credits— it doesn't even have logos. :D

Anyway, I tend to just show the logo in the other stuff that I do (as mentioned in OP: videos and slideshows, primarily). Sometimes, it's discreet; sometimes, not so. Most of the time, I make the "made with..." statement/graphic blend with the project. So, I guess I'll have to disagree with making a standard statement/graphic as that might impose unnecessary limitations on where and how to make such a statement.

But that's just my opinion.

I am new to Ubuntu and I didn't even know of a "made on Ubuntu" thing. Speaking from experience, websites are MUCH easier to make in Ubuntu than with notepad in Windows.
