All:

e-Sword 8.0.6 was released yesterday.

I installed it on Ubuntu 8.10 (64 bit) with Wine 1.0.7. There were a couple of error messages, during the install, but it appears to operate correctly.

I originally installed it using the current version of WINE. That resulted in the text in the resources not being displayed. I had to install that version of Wine, and manually install 1.0.7.

Can it work with Kubuntu? I have it on Windows and Have also Kubuntu want it in both!

I don't see any reason why the install script won't work. BTW, I have installed the Ichthux desktop on my system, an e-Sword works with it.
