Petition - change username

Request to forum administrators. Make possible to change username.

I remind that is illegal to keep personal information, without:

a) Give a chance to users modify/delete personal information. (in this forum, we can't delete accounts, posts or change user names)

b) It's forbidden to store any information (confidential or not), not directly given by users.

c) Government licences to keep databases (in some country's is needed)

I strongly advise the forum administrators to revise the current forum politics on this aspects, and at least allow users to change user names.

Forum accounts may be disabled and have all personal information removed from them by an admin. This is adequate to comply with legal requirements.

We have no plans to change this policy.

[I]If this is true, i wish to have my personal account "disabled". You should not keep any information about me whatsoever, this includes username, ip logs and all my posts.[/I]

I must have the freedom to control what information i reveal about myself in any forum, and who can access that information. I started using linux because of freedom of choice, and i am disappointed with the current forum politics, so i don't want to have a part on it.[/I]
