For YouTube, MySpace type websites-- "Almost every page you go to you will have a 'Promoted Videos' section. Sadly these thumbnails usually display something which could lead a person to stumble. This plug in will eradict those sections on the main page, and player pages. This plug in inserts bible verses where the offensive stuff would normally be."

I'd love this filter - but it's for Windows. Can this be used with Ubuntu, or is there anything like it for Ubuntu? I would think that, as Firefox plug-in, it wouldn't matter what OS you have, but it says it's for Windows, and when I click on it, it wants to save the file, not install it.

Yes it could be install in ubuntu. Go ahead to save the file and remember where you save it. To make it easy you could save it on your dekstop.

After that,

  • right click on the saved file (IBH.xpi)
  • select "open with other application"
  • choose "firefox web browser" and then click "open"
  • confirm to install

It will install and function properly in ubuntu.
