Hello.

ok basically im making a signature and i need to use a font that gimp doesntt have, its called beckett, but its on .ttf format so as for as i know i cant use it on ubuntu, or can i? if so how.

download the ttf, and go to your home directory, and place it in .fonts (create it if it doesn't exist), then start up Gimp. If it's not there, refresh Gimp's font list.
