Hi,

I have a Compaq Presario R3210CA. It comes with an AMD Athalon XP-M 2800+ processor (it's a 32-bit). Apparently this thing has CPU Frequency scaling, and I've heard of it using the k8powernow kernel 2.6 module.

Just wondering if I should download the amd64 install disc, or the i386 one.

It's not a 64bit processor, so the amd64 installer won't load. It's only for 64bit processors.
