If you where going to put an assortment of tools for windows repair on a thumb drive then what would you include?

#2

Hijackthis, spybot, ComboFix, CCleaner, PAVARK, OTMoveIt.

Lets face it, most of windows problems are more than likely going to be virus related.

These should take care of most things. I would also bring a Live CD to show them what they're missing out on.

EDIT///

I wouldn't recommend using any of these without knowing exactly what they do though, ComboFix especially can severely mess up a computer if you do the wrong thing.

#3

-Autoruns to survey the damage. -Malwarebyte's AntiMalware to perform initial cleanup. -Autoruns again, with Process Explorer and maybe Procmon to find sneakier nasties. -Killbox if something refuses to delete. -CCleaner to do a more general cleanup.

#4

Something to recover user passwords in Vista.

#5

Installers for ALL your drivers that you need.

#6

Possibly something from here http://www.bootdisk.com/

no most windows problems are caused by incorect dependancy structuring in system works when programs write exceptions and use the same thing

example you run photoshop

and you run some other photo app

they might use the same file photoshop will use one and the other will and access the same file then causing a has error output

then microsoft will blame the company themselves for the faulty software as they decided the price for both suits

I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner, http://portableapps.com/

If you can get yourself onto the net, everything else you can get from there.
