i got a mac mini i put in the live cd and was goind to try it i rebooted it then it jist loaded like normal linux wont vome up at all is thair a way to get into the bios on a mac i am a !noob!

I haven't played with a mac mini yet, but on my ibook I hold down the c key while booting. That boots from the cd drive.

In every Mac since the colored iMacs and iBooks you can press and hold "C" to boot off a cd.

if that doesnt work out, i have a mini as well and keeping the "alt" key pressed during the boot you get a menu with all the bootable partitions or cds

I launched and tested both 5.xx version of Ubuntu on my mini using C key while booting. ;)
