Your actions deserved the issuing of an infraction. I see no reason to reverse the infraction issued.
then the warning should be removed
I just reviewed this. They were issued at almost the same time, but by two different people. Honestly, I think both should stay. The warning serves to say, "Please don't do this." The two point infraction is a slightly stronger warning, generally issued when people repeat behavior, but sometimes issued as an initial warning in stronger cases.
Both are appropriate.

what?? it was a first offense, you give a warning, please stop or you'll get an infraction.
but now the way it is, is like "your getting an infraction and please stop or else.........."
i'm sorry, i'm not trying to be difficult. i just don't understand.
Essentially, what I am saying is that they are both forms of warnings. Neither one affects your access to the forums. Neither is visible to anyone other than staff and you.
I guess what I am trying to say is that leaving them both isn't a big deal. They will each expire quickly, and if there is no further event, then the warning worked.
I'll reverse the warning for you, since it seems to be bothering you to have them both.

I support Matthew's suggestion of removing the warning in this case
It is done.
