Hello,
I have a question for the moderators of the forum, please bear with me and don't think that I am trying to intentionally break the rules here.
I am not.
I believe I understand the reasoning behind the rule of not discussing religion or politics on this message board as they are divisive issues that serve only to break the circle of humanity Ubuntu is trying to create.
I have a question, however.
Would discussion of fictional game politics be allowed?
Perhaps if I put it into context it would make more sense.
I am working on a game which uses fictional civics, government, and politics on a fictional planet, using fictional nations, etc.
It is all for the game's purpose of creating social and civic awareness that we are part of a greater community and getting past the social barriers that keep us divided as a human race.
The spirit of the game is much inline with Ubuntu's Philosophy and in no way, do I wish to lose this community outlet by creating something that would not be good for our community.
So I guess what I am really wondering is, would it be better to focus upon the civics and government aspect of the MMOSG Application I am designing and just leave out the politics if I am to post about it's progress on this board?
If someone could let me know it would help me to decide, if I want to alter the game's perspective or overall goals a bit.
Thank you,
~Coffee
