Anyone out there familiar with the Voodoo 3 graphics card? I have one that I'm trying to get working on an older machine. It runs a bit, but not fully (I don't think the '3D hardware acceleration' or whatnot is working) at this time. In xorg.conf, it's currently recognized as a '3Dfx Interactive, Inc. Voodoo 3' using the default 'tdfx' driver, if that helps.

OK, I'll take that as a "No". I guess that it doesn't really matter now, since I'll be replacing this machine in a week or two with something much newer anyways. I've seen tonnes of stuff on Nvidia and ATI cards, so I'm optimistic about them.
hm? you want 3D support for your voodoo 3? just install libglide3 and relink your librarys with ldconfig
Wow, a response... (Thanks!) :D
I am away from home right now but when I get back I will check this out. However, what do you mean by "relinking my libraries with ldconfig?" (Or will this be self-evident when I get home and run the program?) I think I may have actually installed libglide3; but I did not really know what I was doing and as such I did not relink the required libraries.
(I have had lots to do with graphics cards lately. Right now I have two other computers with ATI cards that I have to get running, one old and one new.)
