To start off i'm such a newbie to linux its not even funny so please dont tell me to type this in there cause i wont know what your talking about.
Please explain step by step.
So to start from the begining, i was never a big fan of linux because there was no real point in using it... its just like why drive manual when you can drive auto... and please dont say, so you can control every aspect of the car and feel closer to the road.
However i decided to use it due to a friend of mine constantly telling me how kick ass it really is, so i gave it a shot and wouldnt you know it a problem occured.
This problem occured on three different copies of ubuntu. the 64bit version 5.10 the 32bit version 5.10 and a live 32bit version 5.10
It says something about couldnt configure X Server and doesnt let me get into ubuntu at all.
My PC is a 64bit 3000+ venice, 4GB Ram Corsair, ati x800gto GPU, asus a8n-SLI motherboard.
Thanks in advance
