I was using hoary happily untill 2 weeks before when I upgraded to Breezy. While Hoary was running flawlessly Breezy gives me display problems. While working I see flasing lines and sometimes my gnome panel at the top is covered by a patch of theme color. I am attaching my screenshot for the same. I am also attaching the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf with this post so that some pros can help me out.
One of my friends told me that the benchmark test to check if your graphics card is working properly is to run the program "tuxracer" or "ppracer". When I run it I get the following error and I cant seem to play this game properly because of the speed of accelerator.
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0". open /dev/sequencer: No such file or directory
I have alredy ran sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg and it wasnt of any help.
I went to http://www.winischhofer.net/ for help on Sis Driver and tried to follow the directions but with no success.
Every help is appreciated.
