I tried to use Ubuntu CE as web proxy filter. Is there anything special you have to do to make this work. My ip is static on the proxy. I set my Windows machines to that ip and port 8080. But I'm not able to ping my proxy server when dansguardian is enabled with the GUI tool. When it is turned off I can ping the proxy server. But the workstations wont reach out to the internet. I'm not a expert at all at this but I'm willing to learn. Thanks and have a blessed day.
