just want to make sure
I turned my ibook on and when linux started booting the screen starting flickering like loads of lines shooting through the display... i instantly powered off and restarted and fine.
But what did that mean that the first time ever...
does it mean my laptop is starting to go or is a graphics problem...

Anybody know any decent pc-laptops? I like one with an amd chip (not intel just personal prefence) and one that will suport linux fully. Do they do amd 64 on laptops yet? i need to look into comps just in case this goes cos need it for uni!!
