Hi Guys I am going to switch at linux. I tried ubuntu for some days. Only problem I face is display drivers and need to run some devices at command prompt. As I am totally new to linux and I don't know a lot about programming too. I even don't know the command line commands for linux, so which desktop is better to start?? Ubuntu, Kubuntu or any other????

Moved to Recurring Discussions, as this question is largely a matter of personal opinion, and not a technical one.
Display drivers aren't likely to be affected by the choice of desktop.
I use ratpoison, but I don't think you want to start out with that.
I'd recommend Xfce (Xubuntu), but in the end it just comes down to personal preference. Remember that you can install any of the four desktop environments (GNOME, KDE, Xfce, and LXDE) on any version of Ubuntu. Pick one and try the others if you don't like it.
