I'm a developer in the Nexenta project and we're currently working on porting Ubuntu packages to Nexenta.
The hackathon event for this starts friday. If you're interested an 'Ubuntu' with ZFS filesystem and Zones virtualization support, join us and help with various tasks. There are small bounties for certain tasks as well.
