It started yesterday on my wife's Pangolin (model serp3), running 8.04.1 LTS. The Logs are getting filled with these entries:

CTS Protection enabled (BSSID=00:1e:52:7b:9a:a6) wlan0 ... CTS Protection disabled (BSSID=00:1e:52:7b:9a:a6) wlan0 ... etc...

(wlan0 being the Wifi)

I have a Pangolin also (model serp3)... and it's not doing it - but I bought mine a few months earlier, and I think that we do not have the same Wifi card.

What's going on...? Have Googled this - there are lots of people reporting this but no solution in sight... What is this CTS thing, anyways???

help.:(

Situation Update:

The last entry in the log relating to CTS Protection is @ 8:30 something this evening... and now it's almost midnight and the system has been up, running & connected to the Net since then.

So it seems to have stopped for now. I don't know what to make of it though...

Any info is welcome!

Thanks

If it happens again, go to System > Administration > System76 Driver > Support > Create and attach the logs.tar archive it creates in your home directory.
