I made clear to a member that I did not need its advice, which had NOTHING to do with the thread topic. It posted again, in spite of my request to not do so. The first of its posts was a violation of forum rule:

Flaming and condescending messages: ... or otherwise harass another forum member (or any person or group). These, along with any generally condescending posts will be moved or removed at the moderators discretion. I advised mods of the problem, nothing was done.

The poster then posted again, NOTHING again about the topic, and made an idle promise about ignoring my threads and posts.

Problem solved? Nope.

I created a new thread, uncluttered and unclogged with its useless banter, and the offense was cut and pasted into the new thread.

This is beyond condescension; it's harassment. Still nothing is done. So I expressed MY opinion of its character, and NOW there's a problem.

I'm not understanding what's [not] going on here...

Anybody?

We were/are looking in to the matter and taking some time to discuss among the staff the history and details. Please try to have some patience.

After a thorough investigation, it is my opinion that nothing needs to be done here.

#5

I agree .

I would add however . You should try to make your thread titles more informative and you are more likely to get help.

This is NOT about thread titles.

The second time this person posted this offensive post was NOTHING short of antagonization. NOTHING. It was ALREADY TOLD ITS ADVICE WAS UNNECESSARY.

AND IT'S STILL THERE!!!

How you see this NOT as antagonization, not even 'GENERALLY CONDESCENDING' is... it's incredulous.

#7

How are you seeing that the second posting of this was not belligerent and obnoxious?

#8

I will de-compile Vista line by line before I understand your rationale.

The second posting was made in a different thread, which was also posted with a poorly worded title. The two threads were merged. The poster was being helpful by repeating advice designed to assist you in receiving aid that he (probably) presumed you had not seen the first time.

Seriously, you are over reacting.

Wrong assumption.

He saw it, and replied to it, and said he was gonna' ignore me. He didn't; rather he posted the BS again, IN THE ANTAGONISTIC MANNER.

There is NO argument against this. Trying to, is just showing that you are making an uninformed haphazard decision. Coin toss maybe?

No matter. This infestation of unrecognizant dolt-ry is unpalatable. Delete my account if that isn't too much to ask. The sooner the better. Save face.

You should probably delete this thread, and the other one too; both make you look pretty bad................

#12

We do not delete accounts I will disable it .

From the Forum FAQ:

Will you delete my account for me?

We are sorry to say that account deletions are no longer possible. If you wish for your account to become inactive we recommend you contact an administrator who can remove your email address from the account and change the password to make the account permanently inaccessible. Account deletions that have occurred in the past have made all of those users' posts belong to "unknown" and have made it impossible to track issues. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

If you want yours disabled, I'll do that for you. It might be better, though, if you simply took a voluntary few days away to cool off. You are obviously angry and I wouldn't want you to do anything rash that you might regret later.

Never mind, I typed too slowly...

@ buccaneere

I will wait , but I have issued an infraction for your attitude. You may like to take some time and reflect and remember members and staff alike are all volunteers and are here to help.

They should not need to endure your attitude
