I am currently running the latest version on UBUNTU none-CE version.

Since I have now found that there is an UBUNTU CE distribution I would like to switch to it.

Is there a way to do this (Upgrade) without starting from scratch or without losing my current driver configurations and applications?

There is no real upgrade that can be done. The best that you can do if you want is to just add the applications into your current configuration.

If you want to have the full CE with the whole CE splash screen and login with the background, You'll just have to do a clean install.

Now I think there is another way of doing this but I'm not sure if it works. Just make the ISO into the CD/DVD and pop it into your computer. Go to Synaptic Package Manager and see if you can install all the apps and such that way.

Also if it works tell me how it went. Id like to know too.
