Ks Arch v.0.1 Alpha Build 2 Released!

What is Ks Arch? I have some problems on telling others what it is, but I do at the moment call it a "script library". What you to is install it, then launch it form your menu and Firefox should open a offline website (located in /usr/share/ksarch/) which contains tutorials giving information about something.

Ususally that thing us quite "complicated" or takes time and research to do, therefore you can find (in the tutorial) a command whihc will launch a bash script which again will to all the dirty work for you.

Ks Arch is however an really early development, but I decided to release it so early because then I can get tips form other people and have a chance to fix typos, errors and bugs in my coding.

You really need to clean up the grammar, it almost makes the post unreadable. So basically it's a bunch of automated scripts that execute the commands in your tutorials?

there's a few typo's to, you should spell check it.

Sorry, my native language isn't English (I am still learning a little every day). And yes Ks Arch is a bunch or automated scripts. The goal is making Linux easier to use and yes, I know I have a lot to do...

Nor is it mine ;), but your posting on the forums here tend to be clear and concise so if you want your project to be successful it needs to be understandable.

What tasks are we automating and, more importantly, should they be automated?

pre-alpha? So it's pre-pre-pre-release? ;)

cool, it like the smxi for sidux? it is good news for new arch user.

Currently making Ks Arch (pre-pre-pre :p) pre alpha 2 which will recieve some new feautures: -Working scripts -Ks Arch will be launchable from the menu as well as terminal -New update system

There might be more ;)

NOTE: If you already have Ks Arch v. 0.1 Pre Alpha 1 you will not get any update notification because of the new update system, you may also have to install Ks Arch manually, but after Ks Arch 0.1 Pre Alpha 2 you don't have to do that anymore.

I just want to give you the changelog for the version under development right now (v.0.1 Alpha build 3):

• New logo
• Removed some bad text
• Corrected a few typos
• Totally re written readme.txt which should contain all the information you need
• You can do a full or custom installation
• Better quality of the menu icon
• You will be able to customize the look of Ks Arch
• Read how to uninstall Ks Arch
• An Arch Linux customize script
• PKGBUILD script will install yaourt and pacbuild by option

i don't mean to sink your boat, but it could be hard to get others interested without a pretty good description.

wouldn't they have to know what it is, first, before they even try it? someone else may have a better idea than i do about it, but i'm in the dark about it.
