None whatsoever.. Just have current features work without issues..

Not really a 'feature' but I don't like the way the GNOME games are integrated with Ubuntu. If you try uninstall one it forces you to uninstall them all. Kind of annoying when all you really want is Go and Chess, and maybe tetris.

Uninstalling apps from the gmome menu would be nice. I remember when I first started using Ubuntu and I saw apps that I didn't need in the menu, first thing that I tried to do was right clicking them to see if I could uninstall. Also when you use gdebi lets say to install something from getdeb it will sometimes say an older version is available in the repos but gives you no option to install the other version instead

well, 9.04 is gonna cover my main considerations.. speed of boot-up and a superfast file system (ext4).

Other than that, I think ubuntu is coming close to perfect for me. The main features now I think relate to support i.e.

-coordinating and ensuring drivers work and are up to date -making sure advice for new users is easy to access and understandable (esp. regards codecs etc)* -ensuring wikis etc are maintained in easy to access format -promoting preloaded versions of ubuntu

The computer world is fast moving, and I can imagine its hard enough just keeping up with the new hardware. Unfortunately all too often ubuntu still has problem doing basic things (like having the correct printer drivers).

*a read-me file or link to a specific web page would be good that scans for all required codecs and drivers etc and does a menu driven (install/don't install) for newbies would be super. VERY importantly, internet connection should work from the offset.

Catching up with all other distros and using PackageKit and the new GDM.
