I have mac os 8 on my powerbook 3400c, and with Icab browser it runs quite well considering it has 32mb ram:p I can even run games from the macintosh garden lol. It would be very useful if anyone knew of a Macintosh chat client like pidgin that supported aim or yahoo? Thanks!

Basically I think you are stuck with old versions of the branded apps if you can find them... not sure if they will connect with the services anymore either...

I don't care if they are old. Do you know of any? I just had to use Netscape 3.01. I think if I can deal with 32 java script errors poping up when I visit this site I think I can deal with old software :D

You USED to be able to download the old versions directly from the companies... but it's getting harder to do that these days. : /
