Just an idea I had and wanted to put it before the Administrators. When someone joins the Ubuntu Forums would it be possible to send a automated welcome email to the new user with some useful information, like how to navigate the forums and pointers for beginners on where to get started with Ubuntu. There is plenty of information around already but having a few useful points for new comers might help ease the daunting sense so many get having to learn a new operating system as well as learning how to navigate the forums.
This isn't a complaint, but how about doing this...
