With a NEW version just a little over a month a away why can't anyone fix that SD Card bug, where Ubuntu does not even recognize the card even being there. I know they have not fixed it yet as there is a post about this in the regular forum. I know if you use a USB adapter, you can work around this bug. But why can't anyone just fix this bug?
Fix the SD card bug PLEASE

Post a link to the bug report. How do you know it's not fixed? Are you using jaunty?
It has been posted already in the bug link, I done it 3 times within the last year, The reason I know it hasn't been fixed, as I said it in my original post someone else reported the same problem...CHECK GENERAL HELP...IT"S THERE!!! and which version I am using check by by name it's 7.04 I am planning to upgrade this April when 9.04 comes out. Hopefully they have it fixed then, my laptop does have a SD card port.
Bug fixes don't usually make it into already released versions, so it is a possibility that the bug is already fixed in jaunty, or any version since feisty since that's what you're using. I'm not going to bother trying to find the post you mentioned but didn't link to in order to find the bug report which you also didn't link to.
Please be aware that developers aren't there to do what you want them to do. They work on their own agenda.
