Requesting that the "Well they got rid of other OS Talk" thread be re-opened?

I respectfully wish this thread to be re-opened?

I know, it's name is poorly chosen, but the content is far from negative.

It had some mildly rough patches in it, but really, if you read through it, it has become a very positive thread with regard to the closure of the Other OS Talk thread.

& really, it has been closed whilst we have been dealing with understanding a pertinent reality of why the heavy pruning & such is going on in the UF's. When the next release comes out this place is in BIG trouble.

So, please if you could open it, if some people come along & the conversation turns negative, then by all means shut it down.

The closure of other OS talk is under review . An announcement will be made soon. So in the interim can we keep the thread closed.
