question a mods behavior

So I have a question concerning moderators behavior in general. I lurk more than post, but as of late I have seen in the forum and and in the Resolution Center members question a mods behavior and the response has been .....oh shall we say negative.....bordering on intolerant. I've reviewed the CoC, and just for clarity, is mod behavior beyond question? even in here? If not what is the policy or protocol? Is it posted? I understand deference is to the mods, but everyones human. Let those without fault...., and all. Maybe a sticky at the top of the center is in order?

The behavior of moderators is not above question. There have been situations where they have been overruled, and even situations where moderators have been removed from staff.

I'm sorry you have read the recent exchanges in the Resolution Center this way. The tone you perceive is unfortunate and unintended.

so not to belittle the point, but is there a protocol for questioning the behavior of a mod? If so where?

Post here and politely and unemotionally describe the problem, with links to exact threads and/or posts.

If this doesn't work, put an item on the Forum Council agenda and come discuss the case live with the council in session.

understood.....just an suggestion though, you might consider folding that into the CoC or at least a sticky at the top of the forum. It might seem like common sense....its not.

I'm sorry I forgot I can't edit....I meant to say "add explicitly in to the CoC."...hopefully you get my meaning.

Putting it in the CoC is reasonable. I'll talk to others about it and see what we can do.

We do have it already noted in two places linked at the top of every page, but they aren't quite as obvious: Forum Help->Forum Coc and Forum Council->Forum Governance.

I don't think it would hurt, but how many people actually read the CoC/Stickies :)
