Hi there! Since I started to use Ubuntu (7.04), I've noticed that every time Ubuntu freezes, you have to either reset your computer or wait until it returns to normal. What I've thought is a feature based on Windows XP Task Manager. When your system freezes, it uses a part of the memory that could be saved, and open the Task Manager, and from there, you could Kill processes which could be freezing your system.
What I suggest, is that when the system freezes, the Task Manager would Pop-Up OR (if the latter is not possible), you would press a key (CTRL+ALT+DEL maybe), and the task manager would pop-up (as you can't press any button when your system freezes), giving you the chance do 'melt' your computer back to run. What you guys think about it? :p
