I'm a translator and I contacted Marco Ferragina, because I wanted to commit a Danish translation of cGmail.
His reply:
Sorry but I have no time to maintain cGmail so I don't know if a new release will ever come out. If I will find the time to develop i will include you translation :)
If anyone's interested in taking over the maintainance and development of this great little applet, you ought to contact Marco. (I'm not a programmer myself).
