Language

Hey all:

I'm trying to work on a foreign language (German specifically), and I have two queries: 1) I'd like to know if there is any interesting FOSS out there that might help me.

2). I've started to look myself, and I found jMemorize, which is software that emulates flash-cards. The thing is, I don't want to make all the cards myself if I can help it. Does anyone know a good way to import a file (say a csv file) that has lists English words with German translations?

There is a language programme, which I have personally never used, and I think it is called lingoteach, and should be in the respositories.

And- as a tip from someone who has learned several languages herself- learning languages usually does not go the comfortable way. You'll learn the vocabulary much better through actually making all the vocab cards yourself.
