how often are computers used in churches or for some worshipping reason in general where you live? i know that the following word "kind" is not used in the right way, i mean it as whether you are catholic, protestant, orthodox etc, my english is not good enough. so : what "kind" of christian are you?

It depends on the size of the church. I'm a member of a smaller church and I think we have 3 computers: one to record audio from the sermons, one for the church staff to use and one for the church library (which is in need of some TLC).
it seems that greece is way too stuck into the past by not accepting technology like that. the most "hi-tech" thing in our churches are microphones and air-conditions.

I'm probably the geekiest person in our church, but I use my laptop every time I'm at church. I've made sure I have a *very* quiet keyboard ;) of course.
The reason I like to use my laptop is because with either QuickVerse or eSword (both in Windows versions), I have the ability to look at several different Scripture versions at the same time, plus commentaries and my own notes. It's been very useful in Sunday school and in the main services.

The church I'm associated with (haven't been for a while, tut tut tut!) *sometimes* uses laptops and projectors as part of their worship (showing the words of songs etc) and occasionally as part of their Bible studies. I've been known to take one of mine from time to time, usually when I'm recording the service (camcorder) and want to run off a quick copy for the pastor.
