Having problems saving a Pokemon game that I have open through VBA Express, and was wondering if anyone knows how to solve this. Every time I go through to save it says "Save Failed". Thanks.

VBA is technically a piracy tool. At these forums we do not endorse piracy.
However, your problem is likely caused by VBA not being able to write to the save file. Try changing the permissions and see if that helps.

So how do I change the permissions? And yeah, it isn't a piracy tool seeing as you can apt-get the program, and I own the game's I'm playing for the gameboy :P
Try mednefen insted(also in the repo).
try setting the save directory from the "paths" tab to some existing folder.

I had the same problem. From my understanding the problem comes from vba trying to save it as 64b flash when it needs 128b flash. You can fix it by downloading a file called vba-over.ini and putting it in .vba in your home folder.

Hey guys, don't wish to bring this up again, but can anyone tell me where I put the .ini file on vba-m because my .vba file is obviously for my normal version of VBA from the packages, whilst I'm running the windows vba-m with wine. Any tips
