Hi there! I have a real ibm z/os installed and working, and one emulator z/os installed on ubuntu. I have noticed numeric precision differences between these two environments, with the same data source and the same code. Does numeric precision (floating point, decimals..) depends on operating system where Hercules emulator z/os is installed?

Thanks in advanced!

You need to post this question on the Hercules mailing list on Yahoo. In my opinion it shouldn't matter where the emulator runs - it should act just like the 'real thing'.

Are you running the current version of Hercules ?
