What are the best strategy games available on Linux, either native or with Wine. I mostly like real time strategy games, but I'm willing to give turn-based a try too, that's why I'm installing Wesnoth right now.
To be more specific, I like games where I have to build bases and attack the enemy with.
FreeCiv and FreeCol are among the most developed of its kind. Globulation2 and Glest are also worth a look
There are some stratego games you can run through wine that you can get. I enjoy those.

On topic..... The only real good stratedgy games for linux is Battle for Wesnoth and Wold of Goo in my oppinion.
If you count java, then Arcanists (google funorb) is really awesome.
