We all have lumps in the learning process on Ubuntu, or maybe Linux, in general. Things that we just can't figure out how to do. Things that we don't understand the process of. Or things that, even though we thought we figured it out, alway come back to haunt us with errors or failures.

What is your biggest trouble spot?

My biggest problem of all time was getting tv video through my tuner card. But with the introduction of Intrepid that is no longer a problem.

I still haven't gotten Mythtv to work and have given up on it. It may not be as big a problem as I thought but I just gave up because its not that important right now.

Right now I am convinced that I will never get my Brother 240c mfc printer to work. I actually have never gotten a printer to work on Linux and I've had HP, Canon and now Brother. But this is the first time I have had a really good printer and a Linux distribution that I am dedicated to. I'm determined but not hopeful.

ok, let us see....

I still have not understood how sound 'works'. Sometimes the 'speaker icon' on the top panel can control the volume, sometimes not. I stil haven't gotten around to record voice through the mic without background noise (keyboard tapping, etc.).

Bluetooth dongle never worked for me.

Wireless connectivity drops off frequently - this was not the case with Windows.

c3270 and x3270 packages are hopeless compared to Win based s/w.

Adding 640x480 resolution to my laptop so that I can play some old games.
