Gee, let me think...
How about October of 2009.
9 = year
10 = month.
9.10
Good guess, but there might be a setback :O

No, that wasn't a guess. That's how Ubuntu names their releases. The first number is the year, the last number is the month.
9.04 = April, 2009.
9.10 = October, 2009
Get it now?
The most funny date would be: 09-10-11, if you are a number nerd like me. Which for most European countries means 11th of october 2009. But if you use US-dates it would be 10/11/09 which not is as cool...
Huh, i didn't know about that, I wasn't sure because wikipedia apparently says that it should come out on Oct. 29 2009, so It might be 9.11 if it gets postponed by even a few days.

Haha... You don't know how funny it sounds to someone who knows how the release dates and names are defined. xD
The new Ubuntu is released every 6 months, and they are all named "year"."month". So the next one, 9.10 (the one after 9.04, which was after 8.10) is going to be released in October 2009.
=D
It's going to come out soon and I want it to come out for sure. It's going to be awesome for it's view mostly.
No offense, but this is just common sense, its always been x.04 and x.10 (except once with 6.04 and 6.06).
