Today I've edited my profile to put my Ubuntu version as 9.04 and I've seem they already have "(X/K)Ubuntu Karmic Koala (testing)" in the list. Is there already a test version out is that only so they won't need to edit the options when it's actually out?
Karmic Koala testing?

The Pre-Aplha is in testing, and Alpha 1 iso's are due out mid-May IIRC
Either way, I'm disappointed they didn't call it Kleptomaniac Krill

Alpha 1 is May14th. No iso's before then, you need to make your own iso (which I dunno hwo to do, lol)

Whats wrong with naming it different? They might name version 12 or 13 that if everyone makes a vote for it.
At this point in time, there really isn't any Karmic Koala to speak of. That is to say, the developers really haven't started working on it yet, since Jaunty was just released yesterday. That's why you can't post on the Karmic forums just yet. I assume that by April 30th, there *will* be a Karmic (as that is when the Toolchain is updated), but for now - no dice.
